Unfortunately, like all mothers in the world, they protect their children, but that only means that they must not be disturbed. They are wild, and they fear man, so they hide and flee from the sight of people. As for footpaths, there are a number of them, some are signposted, others are country lanes surrounded by vegetation, others develop along the coast. Still others cross lagoons and areas inhabited by wonderful birds, such as pink flamingos. Of course, they're not all close to Sa Ruscitta - some are 5 minutes away, others 10 minutes....We hope you'll come back soon, and we'll be happy to point them out to you and perhaps accompany you personally on the trails themselves.
