The agriturismo
The estate is on the slopes of Mount Etna, surrounded by spectacular vegetation. It is ideal for a vacation of sport or rest, cheered by the many food and wine delicacies, a stone's throw from Taormina, Catania and Syracuse.
The farm follows organic regulations and meets 70 percent of its energy needs through solar and photovoltaic panels. In addition, strict waste separation and rainwater recovery is practiced.
The accommodation
A two-century-old farmhouse has been converted into six rooms (single, double, triple) with the typical features of Etna tradition: lava stone, terra cotta. In the rooms there are private bathrooms with shower, hair dryer, air conditioning, Internet. There are also two apartments with kitchenette. Breakfast puts on the table farm or km 0 products.
Outside chlorine-free swimming pool (salt sterilization), table tennis, bowls, children's play area, barbecue, parking.
Activities and surrounding
Excursions with and without guides are organized. You can go trekking, mountain biking, winter sports.
Discounted rates are available for excursions to MountEtna, ski facilities, golf, quad bike outings.
The area is very rich in food and wine traditions (wine, oil, Bronte pistachio, granite, Zafferana honey).
The managers are available to give advice on wineries and producers to visit.
The location is ideal for visiting theEtna,Alcantera and Nebrodi parks , which have trails with varying degrees of difficulty.
