The agriturismo
The agriturismo Le Case del Merlo is situated between Taormina and Etna, in 15 hectares of woodland and vineyards, offering a fine swimming pool, bocce court, fitness trails and lots of other interesting activities.
Services include a restaurant, tastings, night fishing, excursions to Mt. Etna and beauty treatments.
It is one hour from Catania airport, near Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa Ibla and two hours from Palermo.

The accommodation
The property consists of 9 rooms and 4 suites.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, decorated in great detail and equipped with tv, mini-bar, safe and air conditioning in summer and winter.
The apartments are large and bright, have the same comfort of the rooms, plus a comfortable kitchen to satisfy every need.
The restaurant offers the chance to taste the typical Sicilian cuisine, prepared in a simple yet refined, according to ancient traditional recipes.
Outside you can enjoy open spaces where guests can relax, immersed in a wonderful swimming pool with hydro-massage, which overlooks the panorama of the coast of Sicily.
Activities and surrounding
There are many internal paths surrounded by woods and vineyards, ideal for excursions and walks in the typical Etna territory. The property is located in a strategic position, being surrounded by greenery and calm, not far from major tourist places Just a 20 minutes drive from the top of Etna, beautiful natural scenery, which offers the possibility of striking summer hikes and winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding thanks to snow that covers its peak during the winter. The farmhouse offers its guests the possibility to organize excursions to these natural areas or other destinations such as the famous Alcantara Gorges.
The place is approximately 9 km from the Motorway, so that you can easily reach destinations like Taormina with its beautiful coastline and its famous ancient theatre, Catania with its characteristic city center and Syracuse, with its historical monuments.
