The agriturismo
Agriturismo "Don Cesarino" offers the opportunity to stay in old farmhouses that have been completely renovated, equipped with kitchen and all modern comforts, located in the various farms of the company among green citrus and majestic, centuries-old olive trees.
The type of hospitality is inspired by the "nature-house" formula: cottages immersed in nature, all with their own outdoor spaces for exclusive use, far from the mass and chaos of the city or worse than the typical accommodations focused almost solely on catering, mostly open to outside users (with a restaurant room seating hundreds of people, perhaps under the 4 rooms available).
The accommodation
The hillside location, in addition to enjoying a truly ideal climate for restful and relaxing stays, makes it possible to take vacations with the "sea-mountains" formula, that is, with morning bets to the free or equipped beaches of Capo d'Orlando and San Gregorio or S.Agata di Militello, in a splendid and very blue sea, to then spend afternoons and evenings in the cool of the heights of the Nebrodi Mountains among hazelnut groves, orchards, olive groves and woods.
Activities and surrounding
Therefore, the houses not only allow for a relaxing stay, with enchanting landscapes and views of the Fitalia valley, but also allow those who wish to do so to be able to penetrate, along various paths and ancient lanes or mule tracks within the surrounding woods to collect mushrooms, chestnuts or other fruits of the field, such as asparagus, chicory, blackberries or aromatic essences (oregano, fennel, nepitella, laurel, etc..), finding refreshment in the ancient municipal troughs, or decide to visit the ancient villages of the Hinterland to discover the history and their artistic-monumental beauties (the "vanedde," the Center of Homeland History, the ancient bell foundry, and the churches of Tortorici, the churches and museums of S.Marco d'Alunzio, Naso with its ancient noble palaces, Galati Mamertino, S. Salvatore di Fitalia, Sinagra, Ficarra, Ucria, Floresta, etc.).
About 2 km from us is the ancient Castania di Valdemone whose 17th-century vestiges are still visible in the so-called "Old Center," where it is possible to walk through the ancient narrow streets to discover the beauties that characterized it. Obviously, the hilly location, equidistant from the sea of Capo d'Orlando and the Nebrodi mountains, allows guests to be able to know as much the beauties of the Orland coast (Capo d'Orlando seafront, S.Gregorio beach) as to explore and admire those scenic and naturalistic ones of the Nebrodi Park(Rocche del Crasto, Cascate del Catafurco, Lago Pisciotto, Lago Trearie, Lago Biviere, Lago Maulazzo, etc etc).

I have been managing Agriturismo Don Cesarino since 2007 with my partner.
We take care of: we are responsible for communication, we take care of the crops.
It was a desire to to keep the family business alive which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests' favourite thing about Agriturismo Don Cesarino is the chance to stay in a natural setting.
