The agriturismo
4 km from the sea, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Aeolian Islands, on the Tyrrhenian coast (80 km from Messina 140 from Palermo) stands in an isolated, sunny and panoramic position.
Baron Giuseppe Piccolo, owner of funds in Ficarra, Naso, Sant'Angelo di Brolo and Trabia, tired of being a lawyer, together with his wife, has transformed in 1994 his farmhouse of 1400 in a farm.
Today his wife Titti and children Francesca, Alessandra and Giacinto run the company looking to the future but certain that the land to bear fruit must be loved and respected. They believe that the combination of agriculture and tourism is fundamental for the Sicilian economy and make every effort to succeed in combining tradition with innovation.
The accommodation
In a sort of old-fashioned atmosphere, the 6 guest rooms are inside the old building and are equipped with their own facilities and heating. The tidying is daily while the linen is changed every 3 days. You can taste the timbale of macaroni of the Leopard, or the lacerto agglassato, or the sauce of black pork of the Nebrodi and in summer with the products of the garden are prepared parmigiane, la caponate, zucchini flowers stuffed, stuffed pasta and many other things typical of Sicilian culture.
A rich wine cellar of Sicilian and national wines allows the guest to match the one that best suits his palate to the dish.
The Italian breakfast, with homemade cakes, biscuits and jams, is served by the pool without time constraints.
Parking is free and pets are allowed (under the control of their owners),
Activities and surrounding
On winter evenings you can snuggle up in front of the open fireplace and listen to music or read a book; in summer simply relax and enjoy the range of entertainment on offer. There are also book presentations, and themed days dedicated to music and science, featuring specialists from various medical fields as well as a range of other activities.
There are common areas where guests can relax beside the fireplace, in front of the television, or why not enjoy an aperitif beside the swimming pool? Children’s games are also available.
2 km away there is a go-karting track, and the sea is just 4 km away.
