The agriturismo

The olive Farm of the counts Carducci Artenisio lies 4.6 Kms on the “9 delle Madonie” road that stretches between Campofelice-Collesano, known as contrada Pizzillo, on rich and fertile hills which fall softly towards the sea. It dominates the sea view between Bagheria and Cefalù and also enjoys marvellous views of the Madonies.

The accommodation

Three houses for renting submerged amongst the century-old olive trees, at about 500 metres above sea level, 1.5 Km from the Campofelice di Roccella Golf Club, 10 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from Cefalù. Completely refurbished, with all comforts and furnished in an elegant country style.

HOUSES ROSITA: 2 floors. 5 Beds. Ground floor: Living room, kitchen , W.C. and covered terrace outside with tables and benches. You arrive to the first floor by an internal stone staircase or external stairs.
First floor: Small entrance, double bedroom with shower, single bedroom with shower another shower room and the use of the mansard which is connected by an internal staircase. Mansard has single bed and second pull out one. Spacious external areas where you can inhale pure air and relax with tranquility. Big external covered terrace with tables and iron benches.
HOUSE BIANCA: 2 Beds. Studio with balcony. ground floor a living and kitchen all in one. Separate shower room Balcony double bedroom. Air conditioning, big covered terrace with tables and benches Spacious external areas where you can inhale pure air and relax in tranquility looking across the bay of Cefalù.
HOUSE MARGHERITA: 2 Floors, 4 Beds Ground floor: Hall, living room with fireplace and eating area, kitchen, W.C. and storeroom. Big covered terrace with tables, chairs and benches.
First floor 2 double bedrooms each with shower room.

Activities and surrounding

Guest who choose to come in autumn in October or November can see the picking of olives and the steps of production of the olive oil “Donna Alfonsa”.
The nearest town to the farm is Campofelice di Roccella, a few minutes drive where can be found all supplies. Campofelice offers summer entertainments : shows, cinema, theatres, open air concerts and typical carnival processions. Long beaches with restaurants, bars and discos, and a 18 hole Golf course.
For archeology lovers there is the famous Greek colony of Imera, about 5 Kms away and the antiquarium museum with its treasures. Long walks in the woods with the possibility of picking mushrooms and catching a glimpse of foxes and wild boars.
For horse lovers there is a nearby riding school for lessons or horse trekking across the National Parks. Take the car and visit the old-town of the Madonie such as: Gratteri, Ganci, le Petralie, Polizzi full of history, also Castelbuono and its castle of Ventimiglia, further on to Cefalù and its Norman Cathedral Sicilian pottery workshops Sicilian cake factories. By request you can order typical local food from nearby caterers.
