The agriturismo
Near the "Costa Iblea", immersed in a garden of oranges, the structure offers hospitality in a typical farmhouse whose houses have been transformed into comfortable air-conditioned and fully furnished apartments. The swimming pool with its removable cover is usable most of the year.
The proximity of the sea and the cities of art makes it a point of reference.
In the period November-April is possible to taste the juicy oranges and mandarine as well as between October and November the squeezes of pomegranates. The products of the company are citrus, pomegranates, olive oil of extra quality.
The accommodation
The farm' premises have been transformed into six independent and comfortable lodgings:
- "Casa del Fuoco", once used for the preparation of ricotta cheese, offers on two levels three double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, living room, kitchenette and terrace with a view as far as the sea. The ground floor has been designed to accommodate the handicapped.
- "il Fienile" was once a straw and hay warehouse, and consists of two double bedrooms, bathroom, living room with panoramic view, kitchen.
- "Casa delle Rose" and "Casa del Girasole": they are two studio apartments with double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with the possibility of adding a third bed.
- "Casa del Gelsomino" and "l'Aranceto": with double bedroom and bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and kitchenette, private garden.
All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, hot water, gas, air conditioning or ceiling fans, umbrella with table and chairs for outdoor use. Free Wifi in the entire structure. Available laundry room with washing machine.
Guests also have the swimming pool (measuring 15x7 meters) available 24/24, equipped with a movable cover for use also in spring and autumn, solarium, gazebo, barbecue for succulent grills, large covered compartment for table tennis, table football, bowling green.
The old stable with the typical hand-carved stone mangers has been skilfully restored and used as a common room of about 70 square meters. Here you can listen to music, read, watch TV, play checkers, chess or enjoy a good coffee.
Activities and surrounding
Casale Imperatore is located in the Val di Noto, the south-eastern part of Sicily, near the coast and is an excellent starting point for visiting well-known UNESCO heritage cities such as Syracuse, Noto, Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, Agrigento, Modica, Scicli , Ragusa Ibla.
Nearby there are archaeological sites and nature reserves such as Kamarina, Vendicari, Cava d'Ispica, Cava Grande del Cassibile of considerable archaeological and landscape interest.
The sandy beaches can be reached in 10 minutes, they are all free to access and some are equipped with services such as bars, cabins, deck chairs, umbrellas, etc.
