The agriturismo
The agriturismo is nestled in an ancient hamlet, fully renovated with respect for the original architecture, in Palazzolo Acreide, close to Syracuse and the sea, at the heart of a stunning 90 hectare estate.
The ideal venue for hosting weddings, ceremonies and receptions (with custom menus), and the perfect film set or catering location too. You'll find a private chapel with stone altar, featuring Caltagirone ceramic art from the late 1700s.
The accommodation
Where workers' houses once stood, there are now twin and superior rooms and suites with all the home comforts you could need. There's also a country house with 4-6 bed apartments featuring TVs and Wi-Fi.
The restaurant serves typical Sicilian cuisine prepared using the highest quality ingredients. There are meat and fish dishes available, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. In winter there are themed dinners, and in summer you can dine in the romantic courtyard. The wellbeing area and the fitness area are the perfect places to relax or keep fit. You'll find a treadmill, a cross-trainer and other equipment, as well as massage rooms (with relaxing, holistic and draining treatments), Turkish bath, sauna and a sensory shower followed by herbal teas and fresh and dried fruit.
The saltwater swimming pool is 200 m2, and maintained without the use of chemicals. As well as being friendlier on the eyes, the salt water improves circulation, reduces skin dryness, prevents wrinkles, detoxifies and relieves rheumatic and muscular pain.
