The agriturismo

In a privileged position, a few minutes from Syracuse and the sea, a short distance from the most beautiful Sicilian Baroque, is a charming old rural house, surrounded by the quiet of a large park with typical Sicilian vegetation, is the ideal place for pleasant stays, receptions, meetings and parties for every occasion.

The accommodation

The agritourism, just a few minutes from the centre of Syracuse, is an ancient farm located among gardens of orange and lemon trees. It is a classic Sicilian farmhouse whose topographical traces date back to 1400 and in which strong nineteenth-century architectural impulses are evident. The farmhouse follows a functional scheme around the main courtyard: on the longest sides are aligned palmento-trappeto (used as a restaurant area), the oven, the rural houses, the dormitory, warehouses, while on the short sides, in a raised position compared to the courtyard, is the living part master.

The rooms (double, triple, quadruple) are located around the main courtyard and have been obtained from the rural buildings, which have been completely renovated in the most rigorous respect for the architecture of the place. Comfortable, equipped with all comforts, are totally autonomous.

All around, on 4000 square meters, there is a luxuriant "garden of delights", characterized by fruit trees (bananas, secular Saracen olive trees, figs, apricots, pomegranates, etc. ...) and flowers, typical of the noble Sicilian villas of the past.

The central location of the company, a few kilometers from the center of the city of Syracuse, the most beautiful beaches in the province (Fontane Bianche, Marina di Noto, Vendicari Wildlife Reserve), the most evocative archaeological sites (Necropolis of Pantalica, Cavagrande del Cassibile, Megara iblea etc ...) from the forested mountain areas, which can also be visited on horseback, makes it a privileged place for tourists.
