The agriturismo

Surrounded by meadows and woodland, at around 1000 metres altitude, the farmhouse enjoys stunning scenic views of the surrounding area and the city of Merano.

Families, those who love the mountains and biker groups will find this the ideal base for enjoying a wide range of excursions.

The accommodation

Two apartments, for 2-4 and 2-6 guests respectively, are located on the first floor of the farmhouse. Furnished in typical local style, the cosy apartments feature satellite TV, radios, hairdryers, laundry rooms, bathrooms, towels and kitchenettes with fridges, microwave ovens and coffee machines. A washing machine and baby equipment are available upon request.

Each apartment has its own balcony with views of Merano and the mountains of the Tessa Nature Park.

Breakfast is available upon request, with homemade sweet treats, served in your apartment, as well as snacks of cured meats and Tyrolean cheeses in the evenings.

Outside you’ll find a large children’s play area, while the adults can soak up the sun in the garden or use the barbecue.

Next to the farmhouse you can visit the farm’s stalls and stables, home to cows, sheep, pigs, hens, turkeys, rabbits, ponies, ducks, cats and a dog.

Activities and surrounding

An excursion on foot or by bicycle is the ideal way to make the most of the local countryside: the famous San Vigilio, the Naturno “malga” house, Rio di Lagundo (an extremely beautiful hamlet of the town of Lagundo) and the town of Marlengo are all accessible directly from the farm.

Twenty minutes takes you to Merano, known for its hot water springs and for the gardens of the Trauttmansdorff Castle. Other local destinations also worth a visit include the “Peter-Mitterhofer” typewriter museum in Parcines, the Parcines waterfalls and the Tirolo Castle. The closest large city is Bolzano, where, amongst other attractions, you’ll find a museum of archaeology, home to “Ötzi”, the famous mummy of the Similaun Man.
