The agriturismo

The central location, the love for tradition and simplicity are the strengths of the farm, family run.

 

The accommodation

The Prairerhof consists of two buildings, which are located next to each other.

The traditional house has 10 rooms, all furnished in the classic Tyrolean style.

Each room has a private bathroom with shower and cosmetic products, a sitting area and a balcony with a fantastic view of Merano and the surrounding mountains. The rich breakfast buffet, served in the traditional Tyrolean breakfast room, remains in the guests' memories for a long time: many fresh seasonal products, bread and sandwiches, local cheeses and cold cuts, cakes, fresh fruit, musli and yoghurt, juices and centrifuges and many other typical South Tyrolean products.

In the new annexe (which dates back to 2009) there are two modern and comfortable apartments, with large panoramic balcony, flat screen satellite TV and fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker.

Free covered parking and high-speed WLAN are included.

 

The offer is completed by a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, with large lawn and canopy bed, deck chairs and umbrellas. Throughout the year you can also use the Hot Spring whirlpool, with massage jets and a fantastic mountain scenery (37.5 °).

Activities and surrounding

The farm is open all year round, because every season offers very special possibilities: there is much to discover in Merano and surroundings!

Cycling, hiking, mountain tours and many other activities such as paragliding, rafting, climbing... and more skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating or winter hiking. The operators are available to suggest the most suitable activities according to your needs!

 

In the immediate surroundings of the farm there is a network of dirt paths of about 5 km. The Taser cable car, the Verdins cable car and the cable car to the hiking and skiing area of Merano 2000 are very close by. The botanical gardens of Trauttmannsdorff Castle are also not far away (5 minutes by car). And for shopping, in the old arcades of the arcades of Merano there are many small and characteristic shops. The thermal baths of Merano can also be reached by car or bus in just 10 minutes.

I have been managing Prairerhof since 1970 along with my family.
As well as we welcome the guests.
It was a desire to to pursue a passion which led me to run an agriturismo.
