The Veralten farm is located on the south-facing side of the Val di Tires, in a very sunny and peaceful position at an altitude of 1,150 m with an enchanting view of the Dolomite massif of Catinaccio-Rosengarten.

The farm is the ideal starting point for hikes in the romantic Val Ciamin, on the surrounding peaks, to discover Mount Cavone and Catinaccio and in the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, whose edges run a short distance from home.

On the farm, livestock are raised and small fruits are biologically grown, from which elder and mint syrup and various jams are made

The accommodation

The sun terrace, sunbathing lawn, pergola and unique view of the Rosengarten mountain range are at your disposal, as is our cozy living room. Here you will find various community games and a wide selection of literature. You are welcome to browse through our small library and bring an interesting book to your room. Is the weather bad? The small wood stove in the common room will relax you with the cozy warmth and quiet crackling of wood.

Cooking by yourself is the best way to appreciate food! In our well-equipped common kitchen you will find a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a stove with oven, a coffee and tea maker, and seating. So you can prepare a hot meal to your liking at any time. Ask about our small beginner's cooking class and take a piece of your vacation home with you!

For those who need a snack for a long hike, we offer "Holbmittog" - packed snacks with a refreshing juice from the farm, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, some sweets and a sandwich. Please order the day before!

A simple but very hospitable agriturismo. Cordial hostess. Rooms neat, bathroom new and clean. Breakfast was very good and ample. A good base for many beautiful walks in the area, away from mass tourism. We would love to come back again.
