The agriturismo
On the main road, half way from Trento to Verona, you can find this XVI th century big farm surrounded by fields of grapes and fruits. Season by season the farmhouse can offer own fresh products: apples, berries and vegetables.
The ancient village of Ala is just two miles far. In a few miles you can reach Rovereto and Garda lake.
The accommodation
The farming land is in Vallagarina, the North-South valley with the main communication lines. It is easy to find it. The very ancient farmhouse is in a 3 hectare area cultivated with fruits and grapes.
The farmhouse has been recently transformed in a guest house with 10 large and comfortable bedrooms, each one with a private bathroom, TV and wi-fi. The old rural architecture with very thick walls and arched ceilings create a warm atmosphere: not very far from civilization, just entering the patio you will feel in the past…
In this farmhouse you can sleep and have breakfast. The large choice of berries is the farmhouse’s peculiarity: the homemade cakes are full of them. The owners sell them with fresh fruits, traditional jams, honey, syrups and juices. Fresh made food respects health like have been respected in the modern transformation of the building the ancient stones.
Activities and surrounding
Two lines of mountains: Lessini (East) and the famous Baldo (West). Avio’s Castle deserves your visit. Very interesting places and art centres: Garda Lake, Ala, Rovereto and Trento to the North and Verona to the South.
Wine tasting in different farms is possible as the region has plenty of producers.
The cycling road offers an easy and pleasant walk on the river Adige side.
The river Adige is an interesting place for fly-fishing and spinning.
