The agriturismo
A romantic mountain chalet, perfect for couples, renovated in 2011 with the standards of bio-buildings, is nestled in the woods in a unique landscape and with a breathtaking view, only 1.5 km from Madonna di Campiglio, the last town of the Val Rendena, in Trentino. It contains 6 double rooms and a restaurant.
For ski enthusiasts, it is 2 km from Madonna di Campiglio lifts
IMPORTANT: During the winter season we are not reachable with your own car.
We provide shuttle service to and from parking in the center of Madonna di Campiglio.
In winter only half board is possible, so a dinner charge of 35 euros per person will be added.
The accommodation
Chalet Fogajard means a different holiday in Madonna di Campiglio, but above all, it is a place of peace and relaxes, where you can enjoy a unique and spectacular view to the group of the Brenta Dolomites. It is a place where you feel immediately at home.
Chalet Fogajard has six double rooms furnished with ancient wood from original mountain lodges.
Two of the six rooms are made of Pinus Cembra, with its well-known calming property for the mind and perfect for those who live under stress and need to slow the pace of life.
Each room has its own bathroom with shower, balcony or garden, adsl internet connection and a music library.
The owners welcome also guests who are not hosted in the chalet: in a cozy dining room and in a “stube” with a fireplace which is perfect both for an aperitif and for an after dinner in front of the fire.
At Chalet Fogajard in Madonna di Campiglio each dish tells a story and is a small concentration of enthusiasm: the philosophy that inspires the owners, directing the way they cook, can be summarized in the concept of experimentation in the tradition. All these aspects are combined with a warm atmosphere, a friendly service, fairly informal, and with a homely feeling.
The whole structure is in the name of bio-sustainability, from local untreated larch wood to fabrics, from biomass and solar heating to the reuse of rainwater. To get you fully experience a "sustainable" holiday, the owners suggest that you ask for the shuttle service, with the possibility to park your car in Madonna di Campiglio and get it at the end of your permanence, thus helping to safeguard the precious territory of the Brenta Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage.
The whole chalet can be rented completely, included the excellent cuisine.

Activities and surrounding
Chalet Fogajard is located in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, the largest protected area in Trentino. The park is in the western side of Trentino, between Val di Non, Giudicarie and Val di Sole, covering an area of over 620 square km. It includes the mountain groups of the Adamello-Presanella (which is one of the largest European glaciers) and the Brenta Dolomites. The whole landscape of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park arouses in visitors a deep interest and creates a great visual effect. The forests surrounding the Chalet Fogajard offer many opportunities such as beautiful walks, mountain bike excursions or horseback ridings. Only 150 mt from the chalet there is a rock climbing site. Furthermore, there are two 9-hole golf courses within 15 km and a rafting center 20 km from the Chalet.
For skiing enthusiastic the lifts in Madonna di Campiglio are only 2 km far away; they are accessible by our shuttle service, such as the beautiful ring for cross-country skiing which is only 4 km distant. At the chalet you can rent snowshoes and start immediately fascinating and unforgettable excursions.
The Terme di Comano, important thermal baths for the skin, is only at 40 minutes’ distance.
At Chalet Fogajard you can buy precious fabrics in cashmere and cosmetic products made by the milk of Cashmere goats, which are bred in the farm. It is also produced and sold the best mountain honey.
