Immersed in the countryside, just 5 km from Arezzo, the farmhouse consists of a beautiful manor house owned by the Deni family, next to which stands the guest house.
The accommodation
Nestled in the countryside, just 5 km from Arezzo, the agriturismo is home to the beautiful main house of the Deni family, next to which the guest house stands.
The adjoining organic farm produces extra virgin olive oil, prepared using the olives from age old olive groves at the top of the S. Anastasio hills, home to several typical regional varieties (around 600 Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Leccino plants); however the farm?s main activity is the rearing of Maremmano horses.
The guest apartment has its own entrance and a garden shaded by age old cedar trees, a lounge area with kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom.
Although it is linked to the rest of the property, the apartment is independent, with the garden with swimming pool accessible to the rear.
Fuelled by a passion passed down through the generations, the farm rears the Maremmano breed of horses, with their highly distinguishing features: some of its horses, including ?Questore del Talozzo?, have achieved excellent results in the ?traditional working equitation? championships, a new Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports (F.I.S.E) discipline, with other horses such as ?Governatore del Talozzo? also placing very well in races.
Activities and surrounding
The annexed organic farm produces extra virgin olive oil, whose olives come from the centuries-old olive grove planted on the hills of S. Anastasio with the typical varieties of the area (about 600 olive oil mills, moraiolo, pendolino, leccino); however, the main activity is the breeding of Maremma horses.
