Near Cortona, one of the most beautiful and valuable art cities in Tuscany, is Fattoria Le Giare farmhouse, nestled in the green Valdichiana and close to a small village. This hidden treasure 8 km from Cortona boasts panoramic views where you can organize events with your loved ones .
There is a villa with private pool (7x14) and jacuzzi with large living room or apartments where the pool is shared.
The old building has been renovated preserving the original style but with the conveniences of today.
The majestic cypress avenue is a beautiful picture for guests and the bride and groom.
It also offers a large garden with gazebos and a terrace overlooking Cortona.

Not to be missed is the Reclamation Trail bike path , 1 km away, which can be discovered with bicycles rented on site. The property also boasts a ping-pong table, a soccer field and a children'splayground.
Villa Fattoria Le Giare Agriturismo is 200 meters from a convenience store, close to a riding stable and numerous hiking trails, 2 km from a shopping center, and about 5 km from multiple restaurants.
Nearby are sports centers and the thermal baths of Rapolano, 25 km away. Possibility of hiking , biking and horseback riding.
The surrounding environment is typically rural and is framed by places rich in historical, cultural and gastronomic interest, such as Etruscan Cortona, the medieval villages of Castiglion Fiorentino and Lucignano , but also the castle of Montecchio Vesponi. From the farm, other cities in Tuscany can be visited in a day trip: Florence, Pisa, Arezzo, a pre-Etruscan city, Siena, a city of Roman origin, known for its "Palio," Montepulciano, Montalcino (wines), Pienza (pecorino cheese), San Gimignano, Volterra, Chianti but also Umbria, with Assisi, home of St. Francis, Spello, Orvieto, and Perugia, the famous city rich in history and an important cultural hub.

We just stayed at the farm for a long weekend and we were all happy with the short break. The farm is nestled in the countryside just a few kilometers from Cortona and other beautiful villages like Montepulciano. We stayed with Bed & Breakfast formula in one of the apartments...
