The agriturismo
The agriturismo stands atop a hill, amidst the vines and olive trees of the farm of the same name, in the romantic Casentino Valley, just a few km from Arezzo. The villas, farmhouses dating back to the early XIX century, have been recently renovated in simple style, with respect for the environment, but without compromising on comfort and functionality.
The accommodation
The farmhouse consists of 3 independent villas, each with a private pool, veranda, BBQ and outdoor hot tub.
A beautiful tennis court is available, free of charge, to all guests, with rackets and balls.
Castelluccio consists of 7 double/twin rooms with en suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace, wood-burning oven, and air conditioning and satellite TV in all rooms. Large private garden with swimming pool (May-September), solarium area, panoramic terrace, Jacuzzi, veranda. Turkish ceramic bath (extra).
Il Mulino has 2 double and 1 triple bedroom, 2 bathrooms, equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace. Private garden with swimming pool (May-September), hot tub, veranda with sofas.
Villa Degli Olivi has 4 double/twin rooms with en suite bathroom, equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace, outdoor area with dining table. Pool area with sun loungers and whirlpool bath.
Activities and surrounding
Casentino is an area of Tuscany rich in art and history, known as the "valley of the soul" for its many hermitages and monasteries. The area is also rich in natural resources, and the nearby Casentino Forest Parkoffers the possibility of interesting excursions.
Bicycle and pedestrian path along the Arno River of more than 250 km, possibility to rent bicycles with or without a guide.
The Poppi golf course is 20 km away.
Within a day you can reach Florence, Perugia, Assisi, San Gimignano, Cortona.
