The agriturismo
Beautiful farmhouse completely renovated situated in a quiet and panoramic position with views over the hills of Chianti Classico. The structure has been divided into 2 spacious and comfortable apartments furnished with care and taste in typical Tuscan rustic style. Agriturismo Cantagallo offers an enchanting swimming pool and a large garden equipped for outdoor dining.
The accommodation
The first apartment, the Focolare, is on two floors (250sqm) with the ground floor occupied by the kitchen, a large living/dining room, a bathroom, and a beautiful veranda with a table for dining, the garden, and access to the pool. Protagonist of the living room is the large antique fireplace, which gives its name to this unit, where peasant families used to gather in winter to tell stories to each other and read aloud the few books they owned. On the upper floor are the three bedrooms (2 doubles and one twin), each with its own bathroom (two equipped with a shower and one with a bathtub), and a living room. It can comfortably accommodate up to seven people thanks to the presence of a single bed that can be added in any room given their size and is equipped with a crib.
The second apartment, "The Fireplace," is on one floor (90 square meters), and consists of a beautiful living room with a fireplace, equipped with a double sofa bed, the kitchen, bathroom and a large double room with direct access to the pool. It can accommodate up to four people. The bathroom has been made accessible for the disabled.
Activities and surrounding
The location is ideal, a few kilometers from Florence and Siena, but in the heart of Chianti. From here you can quickly reach places like Greve in Chianti, Impruneta, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni. In addition, an excellent bus service stops at 500 meters from the structure, to take you to Florence.
