In Tavernelle Val di Pesa, surrounded by the Chianti hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, Riccardo, Paola, Francesco, Annita and Lorenzo's farmhouse occupies an ancient 19th century stone barn, where forage was stored in the 1960s; carefully restored, it now houses 3 spacious and panoramic apartments, beautifully furnished in Tuscan style with perfectly restored antique furniture.
The farm is part of the organic family farm Poggio Alle Lame by Riccardo Paolella: it produces Chianti wine, olives and extra virgin olive oil, grappa, nocino, cherry, which can be tasted and buy these products on site.
The apartments for guests all have independent entrance, private courtyard, bathroom, living room with kitchenette with 4 burners and well equipped (with assortment of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and glasses) and double sofa bed, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, air conditioning, heating.
On the ground floor, Tramonto has a double room, while Le Logge has two. On the first floor, Belvedere offers a double room; in addition, a second bedroom and a bathroom have independent access from the apartment.
The farm is located 3 km from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in Chianti. Florence is 25 km away, Siena 23 km; San Gimignano can be reached in 20 minutes, Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo, Volterra in one hour. Nearby you can play tennis (courts 4 km), horseback riding (riding school 10 km), hot air balloon flights (5 km), golf (35 km), or a relaxing trek.
