The agriturismo
Belmonte Vacanze is located within a 200 hectares private park in the countryside of Montaione and situated between San Gimignano and Volterra.
The location of Belmonte allows our guests to reach famous historic towns by car, like San Gimignano (20 km), Volterra (20 km), Certaldo (21 km), Florence (47 km), Siena (58 km), Pisa (45 km), Lucca (66 km). The favourable position also allows you to visit coastal towns (like Cecina 55 km) and their beaches or other picturesque towns and lesser known areas of Tuscany.
If you love sport, Belmonte is the place:
- We're a bike friendly agriturismo and we have Scott MTB available to rent, a safe bike room for your bike and we can arrange guided bike tours.

The accommodation
The Lotti family has been running this business for 13 years. The professional management of the resort combines the warm and familiar atmosphere made up of friendly conversations, good advice and assistance. In 2010 Belmonte Vacanze won the Zoover Award, earning the highest score in its category in Italy through the popular holiday review website Zoover.
The apartments have been furnished with Tuscan styled furniture. We offer different types of flats, ranging from 2 - 4 room apartments. Apartments with 2 bedrooms are also available with one or two bathrooms. Particular attention was paid to create spacious and well lit rooms in order to meet the needs of our guests, families, groups of friends or couples looking for a romantic and intimate atmosphere. All apartments are equipped with all services including air conditioning / heating, wireless Internet connection and an outdoor dining area (balcony or terrace with a gazebo).
In the morning you can receive a home delivery of fresh bread and croissants for breakfast.
Our restaurant Nonna Bianca has been born in the same building where 50 years ago, “Nonna Bianca” welcomed wayfarers and pilgrims looking for a homemade hot dish in her shop as it once was. Today we find the restaurant “Nonna Bianca”. So even in the present-day you can enjoy stewed wild boar with olives, homemade Cinta Senese pork ragù, gnocchi with sausage and truffle and sliced cinta flavoured with vinegar and stewed radish. All dishes are strictly handmade with ingredients that we have in the surroundings of our territory. You can eat well whilst sipping a glass of red wine and enjoying the breathtaking view of Tuscany’s golden hills from our terrace - a true privilege to experience.
As well as this, we have a BBQ area inside the residence where you can grill and eat with your family or friends.
Activities and surrounding
Belmonte Vacanze offers many activities for sporty people
The panoramic swimming pool is our flagship. It has a surface of about 350 square meters with a beach type entrance and hydromassage from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the hills of the Val d 'Elsa.
For those who like to go trekking, our 200 hectares park offers many walking and biking trails meandering through woods, hills and lakes where you can fish.
Inside the park there is a riding center with horses and experienced guides for excursions on horseback in the Tuscan countryside or lessons for beginners.
Among the numerous sport facilities, Belmonte also offers a professional tennis court and the possibility to have lessons with a coach, a football field, a volleyball court and a leisure area with table tennis, table football, bowling green, barbecue and a playground area for children.
In addition to the playground and leisure area where children can play safely with small friends, we created a special pool for kids with a fun slide. The special beach type entrance to the big pool allows your children to enter safely.
Nearby there are many places of artistic and cultural interest
You can visit San Gimignano and its famous towers, Volterra, Certaldo, San Miniato, the medieval castle of Monteriggioni and also Montaione with its attractions, including the geothermal sites in the Parco del Benestare and the beautiful Jerusalem of San Vivaldo, the Holy Mount in Tuscany.
Florence, Siena and Pisa are only one hour far away from the residence.
