The Castle of Bibbione, surrounded by greenery dominates, thanks to its location, the Val di Pesa and the Chianti hills, a panorama of rare beauty and harmony.

For those who love nature, quiet and unspoiled landscapes, this is an absolutely unmissable destination at any time of the year.

The foundations of the castle date back to the year 1000, and in the 16th century the Machiavelli family took possession of it, until the descendants of the Rangoni Machiavelli family, to whom we owe the extraordinary restoration.

The accommodation

Castello di Bibbione is located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, a stone's throw from Florence, in the heart of Chianti.

Castello di Bibbione consists of a farmhouse with swimming pool and spa in the Chianti hillsand a villa with private pool that can accommodate up to twelve people, consisting of four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The farmhouse apartments can accommodate from two to six people. Guests of the apartments have access to the shared swimming pool open from May to October that overlooks the typical hilly landscape of the Chianti area between Florence and Siena.

"Villa Il Poggio " is a farmhouse surrounded by olive trees that enjoys a splendid view of the Tuscan countryside that surrounds the entire Castello di Bibbione area. The villa can accommodate up to twelve people and gives access to the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by the greenery of the private park.

Activities and surrounding

During the stay, it is possible to participate in the tasting , which consists of a guided historical tour of the castle, followed by product tastings, where guests can discover the evolution of wine production and learn how to taste the excellence of Chianti Classico wine.

The two wines being tasted are accompanied with Tuscan bread, cheese, and homemade Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The tasting is concluded, with Vinsanto and cantuccini.

During the summer, guests will have the opportunity to spend pleasant moments of relaxation by the pool or in the garden fully furnished with tables, chairs, and barbecue equipment.
