The agriturismo
The farm is located in the Medici Lands of Montalbano, in the heart of Tuscany. A generous and maternal area of which the Medici had already sensed the immense value by protecting and preserving it in the Reserve of Barco Reale, between Florence and Pisa. It is the ideal place for those who want to relax and at the same time strategic point to reach in a short time the cities full of historical wealth and medieval villages.
The accommodation
The ancient rural villa has 5 independent farm holidays apartments, all scrupulously restructured in the best Tuscan architectural tradition. Each apartment has a kitchen area, living room, private bath, television and cd player. The breezy climate renders the area comfortable also in the summer. The outside terrace and vanishing-edge panoramic pool reserve breathtaking views of the Montalbano valley. Guests can enjoy an ample outdoor space freshly covered with light colored canvas that offers a barbecue and wooden tables, and an equipped play area for the children. Vinci, between Florence and Pisa, in the heart of Tuscany, in the land where Leonardo da Vinci found his first inspirations in Arts and Sciences, you can travel along ancient paths that still today remain rich with history and nature.This area of Tuscany is a generous and maternal land whose immense value had been recognized by the Florentine family of the Medici when they protected and transformed it into their private hunting reserve. Our farmhouse is a magnific place to relax and at the same time a strategical point to visit the famouses cities and storical places.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is located on a hill 300 meters above sea level in a panoramic position and disposed to the south. It is immersed in the countryside, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The place is very quiet, given the road with little traffic and is about 3 km from Vitolini, the nearest village. Our farm produces certified organic extra virgin olive oil and since 2017 the farm, which includes the farm, has its own oil mill that can be visited by reservation. We also promote the wine of our area. There are several typical restaurants at a distance of 2 km and there are many places to visit such as Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo. Montalbano, a protected area, surprises us with Etruscan excavations and many small but fascinating villages to discover such as Carmignano, Poggio a Caiano and Artimino. The Montalbano Nature Park also boasts an extensive network of hiking and mountain biking trails. Nearby there is the possibility to play golf and there is also a riding stable. The spa of Monsummano can be reached in 25 minutes by car as well as a sports climbing cliff. To reach us and move you during your stay is essential to have your own means of transport as the area is poorly equipped with public transport. The farmhouse has free parking.

Perfectly located on a hill within olive trees. You can spend the whole day relaxing at the pool and looking at the beautiful nature of Tuscany or visit the close cities Pisa and Florence.
