The agriturismo
Located at the foot of the hills of Scandicci, just 7 km from the centre of Florence, the farmhouse is a typical Tuscan farmhouse of the seventeenth century, which a careful renovation has made a beautiful structure surrounded by greenery.
Large gardens surround a large 14x7m swimming pool.
The accommodation
**The Green apartment** consists of kitchen, sofa bed for two people, double bedroom and a single bed, bathroom.
**The apartment Blu** is a two-roomed apartment consisting of a kitchen equipped with a sofa bed for two people, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
These two apartments have outside, in the typical farmyard of the farmhouse, table and chairs for eating out under the gazebo.
**La Loggia** is a three-room apartment with a double room and possibility to add a single bed, a triple bed, kitchen/living room with sofa bed for two people, and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The entrance to the apartment is from the garden with a courtyard for eating out.
**La Casa dei Nonni** has two rooms, the one on the ground floor is double with the possibility of an additional single bed, while the one on the first floor has a double and a single bed, and the possibility of adding a second single bed. The kitchen - living room is on the mezzanine floor, has a table of 6, and is equipped. The bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub.
*Il Fienile** has kitchen - living room with double sofa bed, fireplace, kitchen equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, one double bedroom on the mezzanine, bathroom with shower. He's eating out in front of the garden.
Activities and surrounding
From the farmhouse you can easily reach the villages and the countryside of the Florentine Chianti, and the historic centre of Florence with its palaces and museums.
The farmhouse is adjacent to a riding centre and is 1 km from a riding school. In Scandicci, 2 km away there are tennis courts, five-a-side football, numerous restaurants and pizzerias, a shopping centre with all kinds of shops and services.
In July, the Notte Bianca (White Night) takes place every Thursday evening; cultural and musical evenings are organized at the beautiful Castello dell'Acciaiolo, with excellent catering. In the evening, an open-air cinema is held on the terrace of Scandicci Town Hall.
