The agriturismo
Just outside Florence, at the heart of the Chianti Classico region, amidst vines and olive trees stretching as far as the eye can see, the agriturismo offers apartments in rustic Tuscan style, in 2 separate buildings, each one perched on a hill, around 800 metres from the centre of the farm. Guests can request delicious breakfast hampers, delivered directly to their apartment.
The accommodation
On the first hill you'll find a skilfully renovated farmhouse which maintains its rustic style, today converted into an agriturismo, but up until the 1950s, this was the home of the farmers who worked the land with respect for the sharecropping tradition. On the second hill, a Leopold style house overlooks a valley of woodland and vines, some of the Chianti region's most prestigious. The property's features include a tower and a mullioned window, as well as a highly typical internal courtyard.
Guests also have access to a large garden and swimming pool with spectacular views.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is just a few kilometres from wonderful Tuscan attractions such as San Gimignano, whose towers can be seen from the agriturismo's terrace; Barberino Val d'Elsa; Siena and Florence; Passignano Abbey; the Semifonte Chapel; Certaldo (the home of Boccaccio), and the Museum of Glass in Colle Val d'Elsa.
