The agriturismo

Farmhouses from the 17th century in a peaceful hillside location surrounded by woodland, vines and organic olive groves, with spectacular scenic views of the Chianti region and the Arno Valley. On arrival you will receive a welcome gift of a bottle of wine, and guests can also enjoy tasting the farm's oils and wines.

 

The accommodation

The renovation of the old farmhouses has created 9 apartments, with open stone fireplaces, terracotta paving, wooden beams, rustic stone walls and Carrara marble baths. Each apartment includes an equipped kitchenette and access to a large garden with a gazebo. There is also a shared laundry room, covered parking, and a swimming pool with solarium and comfortable sunbeds.

 

Activities and surrounding

For those who love excursions and the outdoors, Montalbano offers a range of mountain biking and trekking routes, fishing and a riding centre. Florence, the Chianti region, Pisa, San Giminiano, Lucca and Siena are all accessible in less than an hour. There are excursions and folklore aplenty in the town of Vinci and the ceramic city of Montelupo, as well as many smaller villages with typical trattorias and craftsman’s workshops.
