The agriturismo
The farmhouse "Il Giardino" is located in the Chianti Rufina valley, just 25 km away from Florence. The landscape surrounding the farmhouse is the classic Chianti landscape : rolling hills with long rows of vines, expanses of olive trees and green woods dotted with the unmistakable cypress trees; an ideal setting for our apartments created from an ancient rural complex recovered by the current owner family.
The accommodation
Within the farmhouse, guests will find 7 independent apartments of various sizes, from 2 to 11 people, with a total of 33 beds (plus 8 extra beds): Jasmine, Olive, Ramerino, Geranium, Sage, Ivy, Laurel. All the apartments have been renovated and furnished respecting the characteristics proper to the old rural farmhouses. Thus, there are ceilings with wooden beams, stone details and arches. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Alloro
Alloro is a large apartment for 11 people consisting of a kitchen with an ancient fireplace, a living room, five double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers.
Ivy
Edera is a large apartment for 6 people; the ground floor consists of a kitchen and dining room, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower while the upper floor has a living room and a double bedroom.
Geranio
Geranio is a 4-person apartment consisting of a large living room with kitchen, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

The farmhouse can be a great starting point to complete your stay with visits to nearby cities such as Florence (just 20 minutes away by train), Siena, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Arezzo and many others. Nearby there is a fishing lake, a tennis court, a soccer field, an outlet, art museums, and adventure parks.
Our activities
- The educational farm is not only a time of learning and fun for children, but allows everyone to rediscover the typical products of the territory, especially "km 0". For this reason, Agriturismo il Giardino allows adults and children to visit their farm independently. The goal is to learn about animals by observing and petting them, to understand their importance and the characteristics of each one.
