The agriturismo
Strategic position for who loves the countryside and want to go comfortably in Florence in twenty minutes, the Poderaccio offers a splendid view on the city, apartments furnished with every comfort, a swimming pool open from June till end of September.
During the summer period we rent weekly from Saturday, shorter stays in last minute.
The accommodation
The Farmhouse Il Poderaccio has availability for his guests four apartments each with a fully equipped kitchenette (some with dishwasher), lounge / living room with fireplace, bedrooms with double or twin beds, bathroom with shower or bath, Digital TV, Internet WiFi, air conditioning, floor heating, free parking on a private area.
Outside there is a large terrace overlooking Florence (280 sqm) with table and chairs reserved, a sunbathing area , barbecue, laundry room, a swimming pool of 10x5 m open from June till about last days of September.
We have also some agreements: Typical Tuscan restaurants (3-5 km away), Spa (9 km), Golf Club (37 km), Tennis (5 km), Ecursions on horseback (4 km), Balloon Flight over Florence or Siena, Guided tours and itineraries in Tuscany , direct sale of extra virgin olive oil IGP, fruit and vegetables production company.
The property has 4 hectares of olive grove, vegetable garden, fruit trees, poultry (chickens, chicks, rabbits, geese) with the possibility of direct collection of products by our guests.
Activities and surrounding
Indoor and outdoor activities. For nature lovers, Il Poderaccio offers the possibility to pick home grown seasonal vegetables and fruits from the garden, or to stroll in the property trying to spot a pheasant, a hare and with a bit of luck a fox or a fawn.
For those instead that enjoy food and drinks, a traditional wood stove is available to bake bread, pizza or cakes. Not to be missed the “Extra Vergine“ Olive oil prepared by Nonno Gino nor Nonna Oliviera’s home made Jams and Marmalades.
It goes without saying that the Swimmming Pool with the view of Florence and the neighbouring towns and villages will provide you with the relaxing athmosphere you need. Children are welcomed. A special smaller pool with water not exceeding 60 cm of depth is also available for them. In the neighbourhood We are located in the vicinities to major historical and artistical centres: 15 km from Florence city centre, 80/90 Km from either Pisa, Lucca, Siena or Arezzo. For those who prefer spending a day by the sea, Livorno is only 100 Km. away
