The agriturismo
Among the hills northeast of Florence, in the center of three valleys--the Sieve Valley, with olive groves and the vineyards of Chianti Rufina; Mugello, with its Bilancino Lake; and Casentino, dotted with ancient towers and castles and dotted with towns still little traveled by mass tourism--the farmhouse has a swimming pool and 3 apartments. The proximity to sites of artistic interest,the wineries of Chianti Rufina, the two main outlets of central Italy, the trial area of Rincine with the most beautiful downhill trail in the region, adventure parks and the Casentino National Park and, needless to say, Florence, will allow you to spend an unforgettable vacation.
The accommodation
The 3 guest apartments are made out of an old barn; the oldest stones set into the main walls turn out to be from an ancient medieval tower. The furnishings are Tuscan style with handmade pure wool mattresses and hand-embroidered, loom-woven sheets.
In detail:
- Gli Archi: has double bedroom, bathroom with shower and living room with kitchenette and 2 single sofa beds.
- Le Mangiatoie: has double bedroom, bathroom with shower also for disabled people and living room with kitchen and double sofa bed.
- Il Pastore: has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, kitchen, large living room with two sofas.
The property can be used as a villa with private pool by groups of 12 people. The outdoor space is very large; the flower garden surrounds the pool and the house and gives the view spectacular sunsets. The pool is open from April to the end of October.
The new heating system , which is very efficient, uses biomass and electricity comes from renewable sources; there is also separate waste collection. The farm is organic and, because of the characteristics mentioned before, the farm can be considered a Bioagriturismo
Cooking classes are organized, followed by dinner or lunch.
Weekly, the facility's restaurant organizes a typical Tuscan dinner by reservation. Breakfast and catering only upon request and reservation according to availability.
Sale of farm products such as organic jams and olive oil.
Activities and surrounding
The farm offers massages with olive oil and infusions of wild herbs, cooking classes and wine tours, agreements with riding schools and the golf club of Scarperia.
Downhill run at 6 km with lift service Rincine trail area
Fitness trail with equipment around Lake Londa
Walks in the park within everyone's reach; beautiful cycling paths.
Florence can be reached in 45 min. by car, or in 35 min. by train, departing from the County (about 5 km from the farm). In Londa, you will find shops, services and restaurants.
Do not miss a visit to the breeding of the Italian breed of the Apennine Hound, with so many tender puppies!

I have been working here for 19 years along with my family.
As well as we cook for the guests, we take care of the crops, we run the courses.
It was a desire to to pursue a passion which led me to run an agriturismo.
