The agriturismo
In a scenic, quiet area only a few miles north of Fiesole and Florence lies, amidst olive groves, the characteristic farmhouse with its 4 independent apartments. The swimming pool is open from may to September. For short stays rooms in B&B.
Our restaurant is openned from aprile to the end of september for dinner on thursdays, fridays, saturdays and on sunday; on request we can do special openings. We prepare typical tuscan food with local products.
The accommodation
The farmhouse offers cozy atmosphere and family hospitality, has six apartments equipped with all comforts.
In the farmhouse called "Scopa" where there is also a swimming pool, there are 4 apartments:
Saletta: 75 m², 4 + 1 people, has got living room, kitchen, 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with sofa bed.
Casa al Bosco: 65 sq m, 4 people, consists of living room with kitchenette, 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms.
Olmo: 50 sq m, 2 + 1 people, has got kitchen, 1 double room, 1 bathroom, small living room with sofa bed.
Scopa: 40 sq m, sleeps 2+1 people, has 1 double room, 1 bathroom, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette.
100 meters from the "Scopa" farmhouse is the "Cepparello" farmhouse where, in addition to the restaurant, there are 2 apartments and a studio.
Giuggiolo: 60 sq. m., 2+2 people, consists of living room with kitchenette and comfortable double sofa bed, bathroom, a double or twin bedroom with bathroom and walk-in closet.
Tiglio : 60 sq. m., 2+2 people, consists of living room with kitchenette and comfortable double sofa bed, bathroom for disabled a double bedroom with bathroom
and walk-in closet.
Gelso: 16 m², it is a studio apartment also suitable for the disabled, has a room with double bed and small kitchenette, and bathroom; it can be rented individually or combined with the Tiglio or Giuggiolo apartment.
All apartments are equipped with TV, washing machine, wi-fi internet connection, outdoor space equipped for eating outside as well, and on request: iron, hair dryer and barbecue.
The restaurant of the farmhouse offers dishes from the Tuscan tradition and is available for dinner on Fridays, for lunch and dinner on Saturdays, and for lunch on Sundays.
100 meters from the farmhouse, in the manor house, we have availability of rooms with bathroom and breakfast service.
Activities and surrounding
Within the Agriturismo from May to September is available to guests a swimming pool.
It is possible to rent mountain bikes for excursions in the surrounding area, tourist advice and booking museums.
For lovers of good food and the flavors of the past within the farm we organize guided tours of the farm mill with tasting and direct sale of extra virgin olive oil "Montereggi"
.
From the farm it is also possible to easily reach the center of the city, only 200 meters away there is a city bus stop, as well as several stores of primary necessity (supermarket, pharmacy, gas station, post office, newsstand) at 1 km, in the village of Caldine, and at 400 meters instead, a typical restaurant agreement.
From the train station of Caldine (1 km) it is possible to reach in just 15 minutes Florence and all the interesting things it has to offer.
The more sporty instead can enjoy the tennis court (4 km), riding school (7 km), 18-hole golf course (25 km), Mugello racetrack (30 km), and finally the Outlet "Barberino di Mugello (30 km). Other main tourist and cultural attractions in the vicinity of the farmhouse: Fiesole (5 km), Florence (7 km, also reachable by bus), San Gimignano (50 km), Arezzo (70 km), Lucca (80 km), Pisa (85 km), Siena (85 km).

It was was wonderfully stay. The hosts are very pleasant, food and wine were delicious. The villa is located near by railway station (15mins walk) and you can easy get to Florence (just 2 stops ). That's pity we were unable to stay more then 3 days.
