The agriturismo

The farmhouse has six apartments, converted from an old 18th-century farmhouse. The style, very cozy but at the same time refined and with attention to detail, blends well with the landscape: stone walls, exposed wooden beams, wrought-iron beds and railings, fireplace and old stone wood-burning oven, outdoor and indoor floors in terracotta or pietra serena, all in the best Tuscan tradition.

The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden with reserved spaces and barbecue for guests' use.

The panorama is striking, typical of the Tuscan hills, with views of Vallombrosa and the Valdarno. At guests' disposal there is a tennis court with synthetic grass and a swimming pool surrounded by wide green spaces.

The accommodation

The property is divided into six cozy apartments with full kitchens and Wi-Fi.

Each dwelling has an independent entrance from a characteristic covered courtyard; La Chiocciola, La Stalla and Il Fienile have, in addition, access also from the garden via a patio with a view. Il Seccatoio has a terrace on the second floor with a view, while La Nicchia is our only accommodation without a terrace. The Pergola apartment has only one bedroom.

The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with spaces reserved for each individual apartment, with a barbecue available for guests, swimming pool and tennis court, the latter being a 1-minute walk away.

It is possible to book breakfast service at the price of 13.00 euros per person per day.

Activities and surrounding

The environment is particularly suitable for those seeking absolute relaxation, but also for those who love to visit cities of art and culture such as:

- Florence just 20 minutes by car, the "cradle of the Renaissance" where many of the greatest artists belonging to this movement were born, lived and worked.

- Arezzo just 40 minutes away, where walking along the Corso or the narrow medieval streets lined with 16th-century buildings that rise to the upper part of the city gives the impression of being inside a Piero della Francesca fresco.

- Siena an hour's drive away, a city famous not only for its artistic beauty but also for the Palio horse race.

- The Chianti area just 30 minutes away.

These localities are also easily reached by train from the S. Ellero train station only 2 kilometers from the farmhouse. Trains to Florence leave every hour.
