The agriturismo
Tenuta Selvaggia is a farmhouse with a swimming pool in Reggello, in the province of Florence, within a Tuscan-style estate, surrounded by beautiful hills, art, gastronomic culture and the poetry of horses.
The agriturismo tends olive trees and, thanks to its location in the Tuscan hills, produces the highest quality organic extra virgin olive oil with a lingering flavor and recognizable organoleptic qualities.
Also present is an equestrian center that hosts horse-related activities, including: pony and horse riding school for all levels; dressage, show jumping, taming and training; horse breeding and sales; boarding; and horseback riding.
The accommodation
Tenuta Selvaggia is structured in 11 beds divided into:
1 independent apartment for up to 5 people with 2 double beds ( including a sofa bed in the living room) and 1 single bed. Complete with kitchen with dishwasher, living room with fireplace, air-conditioned bedroom, full bathroom with Jacuzzi and private garden.
3 bedrooms in the main house of which:
- 1 with double bed and private bathroom
- 1 with double bed, single bed and private bathroom
- 1 with double bed, single bed and private bathroom outside the room.
All rooms are equipped with TVs with built-in wifi.
Outside, you can find a sunny garden for breakfast and barbecue in the full tranquility to relax, a swimming pool available for guests and games available for children.
It is possible on request to have: massages, yoga classes, baby sitting.
Four-legged friends are welcome.
Activities and surrounding
Tenuta Selvaggia is home to an industry-recognized equestrian center with schooling and programs for riding, walking, stabling, taming and training horses.
The equestrian center provides riders and amazons with well-equipped fields with obstacle park, sand fields including a 20m covered roundabout. Also, boxes, paddocks and saddles as well as various services such as taming, boarding, pony school, equestrian rehabilitation, washing, farriery, infirmary and clubhouse.
The main mounts are practiced in the school: English and western. Riding programs include courses for beginners as well as competitive show jumping and dressage. In addition, the equestrian center also organizes walking, hiking and trekking in the beautiful hills of Tuscany.
Among the main activities and experiences:
- WITH THE JEEP UP TO THE CRINAL: a fun alternative to reach the ridge of Pratomagno, through the wildest and most unspoiled nature
- HORSE RIDING ON THE CRINAL: beautiful meadows and panoramic views of the Valdarno and Casentino up to 1200 meters above sea level to fully enjoy the Tuscan landscape.
- PIC NIC WITH NATURAL PRODUCTS: a picnic with local products km 0 and prepared at home by the owners of the farmhouse among the green meadows of the Tuscan hills.
- BIPOST FLIGHT IN PARAGLIDING: 2 hours of adrenaline-fueled flight between 40 to 60 km/h between landing breafing, jeep ascent, preparation and paired flight with a flight expert.
Tenuta Selvaggia is chosen because of the charm of the place, the traditions, and the unique historical and artistic evidence. It is in fact located 40 km from Florence, 50 km from Arezzo, 80 km from Siena, 120 km from Pisa and only 10 km from the famous outlet "The Mall."
It is also located just below the Setteponti road, renowned for its ancient villages and parish churches. 10 km away is Vallombrosa at a height of mt. 1000slm and continuing on to Pratomagno, which offers unsurpassed views and spectacular hiking trails.
