The agriturismo
The property is nestled among the lush green Tuscan hills, just 2 km from Dicomano and 40 km,north-east from Florence.
Each of 4 well-appointed apartments has been recently renovated, and sleeps 4-6 people. Guests are invited to enjoy the views of the countryside and relax by our 6 x 12 meter pool.
Florence is just 45 minutes away by easy train ride, with convenient connections to Arezzo,Pisa and Siena. The location is also convenient for visiting Fiesole, small hamlets and Tuscany's most beautiful towns and cities by car.
The accommodation
The property consists of 4 apartments for rent for guests and the main villa where the owners live.
The farm is located in the middle of woods, olive groves and green meadows where cows and calves graze.
Each apartment has a private outdoor area equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining, guests share a stone barbecue, a beautiful billiard room and the swimming pool (12 x 6 meters), where each apartment has its own umbrella with sun beds and tables. The swimming pool is on a higher level than the house and enjoys a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills.
Tulipano: 3 1 sleeping accommodations (62 sqm). Ground floor: living room, dining room with kitchen corner (oven, fridge, freezer) and access to a private and equipped outdoor area. First floor: a wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area, composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom with possibility to add a bed and 1 bathroom with shower and washing machine.
Girasole: 4 1 beds (85 sqm). Ground floor: living room and dining room with kitchenette (oven, fridge, freezer) and access to a private and equipped outdoor area. First floor: 2 double bedroom (one with bathroom), 1 single bedroom with possibility to add a bed and 1 bathroom with shower and washing machine.
Melograno: sleeps 4 1, handicapped accessible (82 sqm). Ground floor: dining room with kitchen (oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher) and access to a private and equipped outdoor area, 1 bedroom with French bed, 1 bathroom with shower. First floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom with possibility to add a bed and 1 bathroom with shower.
Serena: 3 1 sleeping accommodations (45 sqm). Ground floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 kitchen (oven, fridge, freezer). First floor: 1 bedroom with 2 single beds.
Activities and surrounding
Around the farm surrounded by forest there are hiking trails and bike to Montana for wonderful hikes. In nearby Borgo, an important medieval town, you can visit the Romanic church of S. Maria, which houses 16th and 17th century Florentine paintings, and the neoclassical Sant'Onofrio oratory.
Visit the birthplace of Giotto in the nearby town of Vicchio and rindingschool. Nearby there are also Etruscan archeological sites to explore. Also in the area is the Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, in Scarperia.

Lisa and Paolo gave us a very warm welcome. The accommodation was very nice and clean. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning. One evening we were treated to pizza and wine. It tasted very good.
