The agriturismo
In the Tuscan Maremma region, amidst Mediterranean shrubland and vine rows, an old rustic complex set in the striking countryside offers holidays marked by nature and the slow pace of country life.
Behind the main accommodation facility is a garden with a panoramic view, surrounded by orange and kumquat trees, overlooked by a portico typical of noble summer residences.
The swimming pool, set amidst the vines, boasts a superb panorama of the entire estate. A reception room in the old former shed is host to conventions and tastings.
The accommodation
Guests are accommodated in rooms or apartments. The 12 rooms (class, prestige and junior suite), situated in the old manor house which has always been home to the owners and employees of the estate, have kept the name of their original occupant and their nineteenth century antique furnishings. They offer independent air conditioning, private bathroom with hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi.
The 4 apartments are situated in the farmhouse and home to the small private chapel, with a fine view of the courtyard and of the hills. Each apartment is named after an important figure in the estate’s history. They offer a kitchen equipped with fridge, freezer and dishwasher , and two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom.
Guests can avail of a reading room, terrace with a view, function room for tastings and meetings (max 50 people) facing the characteristic historical courtyard .
Activities and surrounding
Just a stone’s throw from the dairy, guests can visit the farm animals, an educational attraction for children. Guests can also participate in activities aimed at raising awareness of the local environment and traditions: cooking classes, visits to the vineyards and tastings guided by an expert in the local area, in farming and in wine production methods. The farm’s own small dairy processes cow, sheep and goats’ milk using old traditional methods. The fine organic cheeses produced are available to purchase.
The agriturismo offers bikes to guests for exploring the vineyards, orchards and olive groves of the estate.
New for 2020: we organize guided tours with pedal assisted bicycles, you can also do the entire tour of the Argentario! Ideal for couples or groups of friends passionate about the sector.
