The agriturismo
Small, peaceful vegetable farm of 10 hectares set at the foot of the Moscona hills. Ideal starting point for visiting the archaeological sites of Vetulonia and Roselle, and just a few km from the sea, from the main tourist attractions, from the Maremma countryside and the Uccellina Nature Park.
The accommodation
The estate is set in a landscape of olive trees offering 8 apartments in terraced houses, all on the ground floor with private entrance, private external loggia complete with garden tables and chairs and air conditioning. The apartments are furnished in Tuscan arte povera style, with careful attention to detail and in keeping with the setting.
The large garden that surrounds the property is equipped with a swimming pool, patio with comfortable loungers and parasols, play area and barbecue. The facility also offers free bicycle hire.
Activities and surrounding
Ideal both for those seeking a seaside holiday as well as those who like to visit archaeological sites, like the nearby Etruscan city of Roselle. It also boasts proximity to the MaremmaNature Park and guests can take trips to the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago and to the Argentario headland.
It is in the centre of cities and towns of major charm and artistic interest, like Rome, Siena, Florence, Pisa, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Saturnia and the “terra dei tufi” (en. tuff).
The surrounding area offers horse riding, hiking and cycling. Despite its countryside location, the agritursmo is close to restaurants, shops and services such as banks, post offices, train and bus stations.
