The agriturismo
The farm, built in 1954 and completed with the addition of the accommodation structure in 2002, is nestled in the countryside of Magliao nella Maremma, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, from which excellent produce such as Morellino di Scansano DOCG wine and PGI-Quality extra virgin olive oil are made.
The accommodation
The farm, surrounded by English lawn and native plants, offers 10 rooms with private bathrooms, including 6 double rooms and 4 quadruple rooms. In a secluded and quiet area are the swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, with a large wrought iron and wood gazebo, and a natural lake which is home to herons and moorhens.
In the restaurant, guests can enjoy homemade desserts, jams, honeys and seasonal fruits, and for dinner, traditional dishes prepared using the farm’s own produce, served in the garden on warm evenings.
Activities and surrounding
The Castle of the Corsini Princes (Castello dei Principi Corsini) looks over the area from the top of the hill, and some of the most typically Tuscan local towns such as Capalbio, Magliano in Toscana, Talamone, Porto S. Stefano and Orbetello are just a few minutes away by car. The beaches of Monte Argentario and the Parco della Maremma are 11 km away, while those who love to relax can reach the Saturnia Spa Centre in just 20 minutes.
The agriturismo organises off-road excursions to discover some of the area’s most spectacular corners.
