Already in 1400, the farmhouse was a hotel and shelter for travelers and was a post office until the early years of the last century.
Halfway between Siena and Grosseto, near the Terme di Petriolo, in the tranquility of Fercole, the farm is surrounded by the natural environment of forests and olive groves. The sea and the art cities are within easy reach.
The farmhouse has recently been restored to the tradition and with ecological solutions: solar panels for hot water and photovoltaic, exposed stone walls which, with their thickness, guarantee a pleasant temperature even on the hottest summer days and, in winter, the fireplace's heat does not disperse.
From the garden you enter the spacious living room (about 50 square meters) with typical Tuscan terracotta flooring, furnished with sofas around the fireplace and a large dining table. The kitchenette is complete with oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, hob, pots and crockery.
The hall extends in summer in the shadow of the pergola, for lunches and dinners and for the games of the little ones. The garden is equipped with armchairs, rocking chair and barbecue.
The large apartment consists of 3 bedrooms.
Three twin rooms are on the first floor: the larger one can also accommodate an extra bed and has a private bathroom, while the other two have shared bathroom facilities. Beds can be single or double. Always from the garden, with independent entrance, you enter the mini apartment, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen: a cozy nest for a couple. The two apartments can be booked by a single group of guests to enjoy the freedom of the garden, home and pool.
The pool is at the center of a vast sunny lawn; the nearby trees of walnuts, plums, cherries shadow the surroundings.
The safe tub for children is "out of ground", measuring 4 x 8 meters with a depth of only 120 cm.
