Agriturismo La Porcareccia

The agriturismo is located in the heart of the Maremma Toscana, a few kilometers from Grosseto and well-known seaside locations like Castiglione della Pescaia, Follonica and Punta Ala, renowned for their tourist attractions and unspoiled water.

Our old farming estate, which has belonged to our family for generations, was converted into a residence in 1987, giving life to one of the first agriturismo in the area, developing and improving over the years and joining it to the farm, mainly concentrated on harvesting olives and producing IGP extra virgin olive oil.

The two main buildings are surrounded by a large garden of about 8000 square meters in which there is a soccer field, volleyball court, ping-pong table, children's area, some hammocks, barbecue and dining tables. The large swimming pool has deck chairs, sun beds and shaded areas.

The farmhouse has different housing solutions: apartments sleeping 2 to 8/9 people are equipped with every comfort, independent entrance and a furnished outdoor area for dining or relaxing outdoors.

OLIVO (8+2 beds) - 130 sqm

On the second floor of the main building consists of large living room with fireplace, kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside a covered and furnished terrace overlooking the garden. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms.

In the main building, on two levels, consists of living room with open kitchen on the ground floor and two large bedrooms and two small bathrooms on the second floor. Outside, a large furnished pergola for outdoor dining. Air conditioning in the rooms.
Please consider carefully the internal staircase in the presence of small children or people with mobility difficulties.

GELSO (4+1 beds) - 70 sqm

On the ground floor of the main building, consists of large living room with fireplace and open kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. Outside is a terrace with gazebo, furnished for outdoor dining. The accommodation and bathroom are fully wheelchair accessible.

GLICINE (2+2) - 40 sqm

On the ground floor of the stone outbuilding, it consists of kitchen with sofa bed (140x190), bathroom and large double bedroom. The accommodation also has air conditioning. Outside is a terrace with a gazebo, furnished for outdoor dining. APARTMENT FOR 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN OR 3 ADULTS.

On the ground floor of the stone outbuilding, large studio apartment consisting of living area with foldaway kitchenette, table and sofa, bathroom and sleeping area with double bed. The accommodation has air conditioning. Outside is a covered and furnished terrace for outdoor dining.

The agriturismo is found in the heart of the Maremma Toscana, only 20 km from the unspoiled sea of Grosseto’s coast characterized by pine forests and long sandy beaches.

Among the well-known sites: Castiglione della Pescaia, Follonica, Punta Ala and Cala Violina. Further south, the promontory of the Argentario, Cala Grande and Capalbio, as well as the islands of Giannutri and the Giglio.

The Maremma is one of Italy’s areas with the vastest protected natural reserves, including Parco dell'Uccellina, the Parco Naturale dell'Arcipelago Toscano and, not far from us, the Riserva Naturale di popolamento animale del Belagaio.

Nearby are also archaeological areas like Vetulonia and Roselle or Massa Marittima, one of Tuscany’s most fascinating medieval hamlets. Smaller, but of equal charm, are also Tatti, Montemassi, Montepescali and Roccastrada, which can be reached by car in a few minutes.

The food-wine aspect is important: besides the famous IGP extra virgin olive oil, the territory offers a wide selection of DOC wines, different kinds of pecorino cheese, boar sausage, honey, Monte Amiata IGP chestnuts and many other typical products you may savor in the restaurants nearby or at town feasts.
