The agriturismo

Lo Ziro is a family-run farmhouse located in the middle of Maremma, among the Scansano vines from which the fantastic Morellino is made.

Here you can spend a vacation immersed in nature, in the peace of the hills. In addition to the wine business another pride of the estate is the livestock breeding.

Those who stay here truly experience country life with its rhythms and activities.

The accommodation

Guests are accommodated in three comfortable rooms ideal for families with children in tow, groups of friends (e.g., the Vine, triple), couples seeking a romantic retreat (e.g., the Viola Mammola) or simply for those who desire the peace of nature (e.g., the Elm). The Olmo and the Vite have handicapped access.

The restaurant, which is located next to the rooms, puts on the table genuine cuisine rich in local delicacies and farm and seasonal ingredients.

For those on vacation with their horses, there is the possibility of accommodating animals as well.

Activities and surrounding

In the large garden children can play in complete safety. You can watch the farm work, discover a universe made of slowness and passion, in direct contact with animals, walk along the nearby river and when the season allows take a bath.

In the evening the sky is marvelous and one can admire it without light disturbances. Within a short distance are the thermal baths of Saturnia and the coast, as well as many villages such as Scansano and Montemerano. Of great value are the Etruscan museums and destinations such as Ghiaccio Forte from which there is a spectacular view ofArgentario, Mount Amiata, and the Uccellina Park.
