The agriturismo
The agritourism is located in Monterotondo Marittimo, in one of the most unspoiled areas of the Tuscan Maremma, among cultivated fields, olive groves and wide woods, but also transparent sea, green valleys rich in plants and wild animals, tasty local products, characteristic medieval villages and important cities of art, moments of complete relaxation, trekking and mountain bike itineraries.
The accommodation
The apartments have characteristic interiors and are equipped and furnished with carefully chosen furniture and fabrics. They are all equipped with satellite TV, upright refrigerator, microwave oven and reserved outdoor barbecue; bathrooms have showers and hairdryers.
Apartments No. 1 Cinghiale, No. 2 Istrice, No. 3 Capriolo and No. 4 Poiana are located in the former Pecorareccia building and are equipped with masonry kitchenette, bathroom and ante-bathroom; the first three use the front covered outdoor veranda with wooden porch and tiles, protected by plants and equipped with table and chairs. No. 1 and No. 2 are structured on two levels connected by a convenient internal iron staircase; the ground floor consists of the living room with armchairs, while on the first floor there is the double bedroom with masonry wardrobe compartment and the second bathroom with a reserved terrace on the relaxation side, equipped with chairs and umbrellas.
Apartment No. 3 is located on the ground floor and consists of a living room with armchairs, double bedroom with wardrobe compartment and two-bedroom.
Apartment No. 4, Poiana, is structured entirely on the second floor. It has a rear terrace along the entire length of the apartment, equipped with chairs and umbrella, overlooking the forest and relaxation area.
Apartment A Ex Carraia is located entirely on the ground floor of the Casale and consists of living room with armchairs, satellite TV and table with chairs, kitchenette with chestnut furniture and carrara marble countertop, large double bedroom with stone walls, beamed ceiling and wooden furniture, second bedroom with two beds, large outdoor veranda protected by plants and covered by porch made of beams and tiles, with table and chairs.
Apartment B Grande is located entirely on the second floor of the farmhouse. It is a very large apartment, with an area of more than 200 square meters, with eat-in kitchen with a large brick fireplace, large living room with table and chairs, armchairs and sofa beds, two large double bedrooms and a third very large room with three beds, two bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub and the other a shower.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is immersed in the Maremma countryside, in a panoramic position, among cultivated fields, olive groves and extensive woods. Guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the nature of green valleys, rich in plants and wild animals, to appreciate the products of local crops and livestock, to learn about the history and art of the surrounding area, and to rejuvenate themselves with trekking and mountain biking itineraries.
The Casetta Farm is located in one of the most unspoiled areas of the Tuscan Maremma, and is aimed at the cultivation of organic products and mainly at the production of extra-virgin olive oil, all of which can be purchased on the farm: in addition to oil, also wine, jams, handicraft products in general, within the limits of production and in correspondence with the periods of natural production.
