This organic farm spreads over 550 hectares, between Manciano and Capalbio, in an elevated location in the Maremma hills, enjoying stunning views stretching right to Mount Amiata and the sea, less than half an hour away, with Argentario, Giglio Island and Montecristo
The farm grows wheat, barley and oats, and produces an excellent olive oil and wine made from its own grapes.
All of the farm’s produce is certified organic by the Italian ICEA organisation.
The farm also rears longhorn Maremma cattle, sheep for milk and wild boar.
Poggio Foco’s sheep are certified to produce PDO pecorino cheese.
Guest accommodation is provided in comfortable apartments with historic furniture and fittings, spread across 5 stone farmhouses. Each apartment boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, lounge with open fireplace, TV and terrace with table and chairs.
You’ll also find a restaurant and swimming pool, nestled in greenery, with views of the vines and the Maremma hills.
Guests can get involved on the farm and enjoy guided tours to meet the farm animals.
Sports fans can explore the estate’s own trails or enjoy mountain biking excursions through the Mediterranean shrubland. You’ll also find a small fishing lake and a children’s play area.
The agriturismo is located halfway between the Saturnia Spa Centre (with discounts available for guests) and the beaches of Capalbio and Ansedonia, making it the ideal base for discovering all the beauty of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.
