The agriturismo
Well established farm in Castagneto Carducci‘s territory. It is made up of a fully refurbished 1889’s Tuscan farm house and of two detached houses with garden. Near Bolgheri, it is Km 1 from the sea, in the vicinity of the most beautiful beach of Marina di Castagneto Carducci. Ideal for those who wish to spend a quiet holiday in contact with nature rediscovering ancient traditions.
The accommodation
The old farmhouse has been recently renovated and divided into several apartments; another smaller structure and a detached cottage are in the immediate vicinity.
Iris (3 pers.): consists of kitchen/living room with sofa bed for two people, double bedroom plus single bed, large bathroom with shower. In recent months it has been renovated with new furniture. It has satellite TV, an equipped outdoor area and parking space.
Ginestra (2 adults 2 children maximum 14 years): consists of living room/kitchen with loft, double bedroom, large bathroom with shower; recently renovated and furnished with new furniture. It features a loft with a double bed, TV Sat, free wi-fi, heating, an equipped outdoor space and parking space.
Edera (4 1 pers): Consists of a large kitchen, living room with fireplace in typical Tuscan style, double bedroom plus extra bed, a twin bedroom and a large bathroom with shower
. It is equipped with TV Sat, heating, air conditioning on request and on payment,outdoor spaces equipped for dining and parking space.
Rosa (4 pers.): Consists of a large living room, kitchen, double bedroom, one twin bedroom, and a large bathroom with shower.
It is equipped with TV Sat, heating and air conditioning, equipped outdoor spaces and parking space.
Villetta Mimosa (2-4 pers.): A detached cottage with a fenced garden, it is located in front of the winery of the farm. In front of the structure there is a porch equipped for outdoor dining. Consists of living room-kitchen with fireplace, double bedroom plus single bed, bathroom with shower.
It is also equipped with a double sofa bed, TV Sat, heating, air conditioning, barbecue and parking space.
Outside, children's play area equipped with ping-pong table, swings, soccer net and more!
Activities and surrounding
The guests can participate to all the activities related to the crops produced on the farm, from pruning to peach, grape and olive picking, enjoying both relaxation and the discovery of rural life. In addition, also guided wine tasting sessions can be organized to learn more about the farm’s DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) wine production.
Bicycles can be rented not far from the agritourism for exploring the surrounding territory and its several paths crossing the pinewoods, which are also suitable for trekking lovers.
Sightseeing in the neighbourhood includes Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci and Massa Marittima, the village of S.Vincenzo, which is 10 minutes away, Baratti Gulf, 15 minutes, and towns of artistic and historical interest such as Volterra, Pisa, Florence and Siena can be reached in about 1 hour 15 minutes. Caldana’s Spa is in the vicinity.
