The agriturismo

The agriturismo is situated in the countryside of Suvereto, a small medieval town 15 mins from the sea, between hills of olive trees and the Mediterranean maquis of the Val di Cornia. The geothermal activity in the area and the presence of strange stones traditionally called  "scodelle del diavolo" (Devil’s bowls) have given the place its name: Poggio Diavolino.

The farm produces and sells IGP extra-virgin olive oil and vegetables; it raises cows, pigs and various farmyard animals, wild hares and even ornamental chickens which lay light blue, brown and bronze-green eggs.

The accommodation

Guests are accommodated in 3 completely independent and characteristic stone houses  with one or two bedrooms, sitting room with fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, wood boiler heating, barbecue, parasol, sun lounger, garden tables and chairs.


The solar panels, wood boiler, use of a well to water the vegetable garden as well as certain farming techniques together contribute towards reducing the environmental impact and energy consumption of the agriturismo.

Poggio Diavolino is located among the hills of Suvereto, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Orange Flag for Tourism. At a short distance, the thermal baths; the Gulf of Baratti, the long beaches of Mortelliccio and Rimigliano, the coasts of the promontory of Piombino; museums, fortresses and archaeological sites.
