The agriturismo
1,5 Km of a climbing country road lead you to the ancient Farm house. The landscape has a powerful impact: forest and sea are all around.
The house consists of 6 independent apartments and overlloks one of the most characteristic features of the Tyrrhenian coast.
The accommodation
The renovation of the cottage has respected the original architecture of typical Tuscan farmhouse; beams, joists and frames are chestnut, floors and ceilings were made with recycled materials, the decor is restored antique furniture and handcrafted pieces.
Five two rooms apartments have: a bedroom, a kitchen (that is also a living room) with sofa bed and a bathroom. One three rooms apartment has: 2 bedrooms, a kitchen (that is also living room) with sofa bed, and 2 bathrooms. Each apartment has a fireplace, air conditioning, satellite TV, safety box, dishwasher and an outdoor area with table, umbrella and chairs.
The country house consists of 6 apartments and a common room with a big fireplace and made available to all guests.
Activities and surrounding
In the farm there are 3 horses, but not for riding: they are wild in an enclosure of about an acre and can be petted and ruled in the company of owners.
The farm is at the center of a network of ancient paths, currently crossed on foot or by mountain bike, to reach villages of Castiglioncello, Castelnuovo della Misericordia, Gabbro and Nibbiaia.
Passioned of minerals should go and visit the nearby mines magnesite, on whose surface the mineralized shows melanoflogite, rare mineral.
Sea is one of the greatest attraction: stones beaches in Fortullino, rocks in Livorno coastline, and sandy bottoms in Rosignano and in Donoratico.
The Tuscan Archipelago is in front of us: the marina Rosignano trips can be arranged in its enchanting islands: Elba, Capraia, Montecristo, Gorgona.
Nearby you can visit the medieval villages of great beauty, Bolgheri, Castagneto, Volterra and taste excellent wines as Sassicaia and Ornellaia. Main Tuscany art cities are not so far away: Pisa is 43 km away, Florence 102 km, Siena 104 Km.
You can also find swim spa in Calidario Venturina or in Casciana Terme.
