The agriturismo
In a natural environment, inhabited by roe deers, porcupines, and wild boars, embellished with rare wild orchids, the agriturismo extends for 55 hectares in the Alta Maremma in Tuscany, on a hill top, near Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, and the sea at Marina di Castagneto.
Guests will enjoy the elegant, comfortable rooms in the eighteenth-century villa and two separate outbuildings: "La Foresteria" and "Gli Ulivi".
The accommodation
The main villa is an 18th century building on two floors, with large rooms, period furniture, paintings and décor, that make this residence very elegant. Within, there are twelve elegant rooms, a scenic terrace, and a meeting room.
The La Foresteria and Gli Ulivi buildings house other comfortable rooms, equipped with room safe, minibar, TV, hairdryer, and olive oil-based courtesy set. Some rooms have a small private garden.
The restaurant offers dishes from the Maremma area and the agritursimo’s organic products. Guests have access to a pool, tennis court, meeting room, consecrated chapel for intimate ceremonies, and free Wi-Fi.
The guests can enjoy discounts at the Il Pelagone Golf Club in Gavorrano, near Grosseto (45 km), and at the nearby Terme di Sassetta spa, with spring water pools and wellness center.
Activities and surrounding
In addition to the chance of visiting and wine tasting at the "Consorzio Strada del Vino" vineyards, where the famous SuperTuscans grow, guests can visit the Etruscan Coast: Marina di Castagneto Carducci and the Costal Nature Parks in Rimigliano. Very close by is the pier for the ferry to the islands of Elba and Sardinia.
Neighboring there are characteristic medieval towns and the major cities of art are within 100 km.
