Agriturismo Giunasco is located in Orturano, a small and charming medieval village in Lunigiana, at the foot of theTuscan-Emilian Apennines, in the province of Massa Carrara.

The property is located in Tuscany's northernmost valley, a border bulwark between Liguria and Emilia Romagna, within a network of castles and medieval villages.


The agritourism farm is immersed in a splendid natural setting, a corner of paradise enveloped in greenery, in which the clear air, the magical silence of the flourishing surrounding countryside and the marvelous landscape of the imposing mountains provide pleasant and unforgettable emotions.

The accommodation

For 22 years the Giunasco farm has been offering hospitality and products in a family manner. In a cozy, rural setting, two adjacent buildings dating from the 1600s have been used, one for lodging with spacious, en-suite rooms and the other for a bar, restaurant.

The spacious facilities offer common outdoor spaces: terraces, porch, swimming pool. Inside, a relaxation room with an Internet Point. The farm provides all the products that allow the kitchen, dedicated exclusively to the farm's guests, to offer ancient but refined menus every day.

Ancient is also the morning sitting in the porch, in front of the wood-burning oven from where every day it is impossible not to be ravished by the ancestral scent of freshly baked bread.

Activities and surrounding

Lunigiana 's geographically strategic location allows in the period of guests' stay, using their own car-moto, or train to visit places of cultural and scenic interest such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Parma, Genoa and the 5-Terre.

For those who like to engage in trekking on foot or by bike, our GPS is available with itineraries of different types and difficulty. It is possible to learn and practice Archery or engage in a game of ping pong. A trip on our e-bikes is not to be excluded.

From the end of May until mid-September with your back to theApennines and a beautiful view of the valley, it is worth relaxing by the pool.

Period building with fifteen spacious rooms. Quality dinner at a reasonable price. Breakfast could certainly be improved, no fruit.
