The agriturismo

In an old Tuscan stone farmhouse in Lunigiana, with swimming pool surrounded by acres of cultivated fields, olive groves, pastures, meadows with streams and woods, the farmhouse offers a pleasant stay, rich in tradition, tranquility It has a small wellness center with sauna and Turkish bath.

The accommodation

The 9 guest rooms, one of which is designed to accommodate disabled guests with accompanying persons, are located in two different buildings, both well connected with the garden and swimming pool. The swimming pool has a telescopic cover inside which the climate is controlled, thus making it possible to use it even in the mid-season, during the evening hours and on rainy days (open only from May to September)

Elevated by about 2 m and overlooking the estate, the "whirlpool turret" with relaxation area gives access to a small wellness center, with sauna, steam bath and emotional shower (open May to September for a fee).

 

 

Activities and surrounding

The ancient Via Francigena passes along the border of the agriturismo, popular with hikers and believers from all over Europe; the surrounding area is also ideal for walking and horse riding along the pathways which wind through the woodland.

Lunigiana, known as the “land of 100 castles” is perfect for those who love culture, folklore and food and wine.

We felt very comfortable in the spacious apartment and our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the use of the pool was not/hardly possible and there were few alternative options for children to play on the grounds.
