Set in the countryside at 8 km from Pontedera, the old Tuscan cottage, renovated in line with the principles of bio-architecture, surrounded by age-old olive trees, offers guests the chance to stay in an agriturismo withà la carte restaurant, free bicycle hire and Wi-Fi connection. Guests will discover a unique pastoral environment where alpacas graze freely next to a pony, a Tibetan goat, a donkey, golden retrievers, cats and kittens. The apartments are in rustic Tuscan style, with a view of the surrounding garden, and have a dining area with kitchenette including fridge and coffee machine, private bathroom and shower. Breakfast is served each morning in the communal room. The restaurant offers Tuscan cuisine made using local products, the farm?s own olive oil and vegetables. Guests can see the alpaca llamas from the Andes raised on the agriturismo.

Activities and surrounding

Nearby there are 70 km of marked trails, with varying degrees of difficulty, ideal for walking and hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding. Near the farmhouse a riding stable hosts national and international competitions. A golf school is about 3 km away and the 18-hole golf course is about 20 km away. A few minutes from the company you can visit the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera with all the Vespa models, from the vintage to the most recent and, just beyond, the museum of Vinci dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. On foot, in 20 min. you can reach the medieval village of Montecastello. The sandy beach of Tirrenia is 40 km away. A few kilometers away from the farm there is the Wellness Center of Casciana Terme for those who want to spend an afternoon of personal relaxation.
