The agriturismo

Our farmhouse was established in 1999.

We offer accommodation in comfortable rooms each with bathroom, terrace and independent entrance from the garden.

The farm located at 350 m asl, is extended for about 60 hectares organically cultivated , surrounded by fields of wheat olive trees and woods. The most valuable product of our farm and of which we are proud is theextra virgin organic olive oil, made from 1500 olive trees that we have planted over the years.

We serve breakfast buffet, sweet and savory with homemade cakes, typical local meats and cheeses, jams made by us and Bio products.

It has a charging station for electric vehicles.

The accommodation

The stone farmhouse has been renovated in the traditional Tuscan building style with terracotta floors, wooden beams and rafters.
On the first floor we have two double and four triple rooms that overlook the garden, which is sprinkled with flowering and aromatic plants. Each room has a private bathroom and terrace
, satellite TV, hair dryer, free WIFI, mini-bar, microwave. In each room there is a thermostat with which you can adjust the heating temperature. Two triple rooms are located in the "Barn" which was renovated in 2010 and is 50 m from the main farmhouse.

Recently, we have also installed a WALLBOX, electric car charging station.

For the safety of our guests we take all the necessary precautions by applying the protocols provided by the relevant bodies.

Breakfast during the summer season is served in the open veranda.

In the garden equipped with tables and chairs, there are also ping pong table, table soccer and two swimming pools, one for adults (12x6) and one for children (4x3).

Activities and surrounding

The farmhouse is located in theAlta Val di Cecina, which has as its cultural center Volterra, an important city of art with evidence of Etruscan, Roman, medieval and Renaissance civilizations.
The area has a variety of landscapes ranging from the metalliferous hills to wooded areas (Berignone-Tatti forest and Monterufoli) to gullies, crags and boraciferous soffioni. A curiosity is Larderello, a unique place for its landscape and famous for geothermal energy.
500 m away is the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista (12th cent.) and 2 km away is the imposing Rocca Sillana (11th cent.), which dominates the entire valley. The medieval village of San Dalmazio (700 m away) is also interesting.

The nearby rivers (Pavone and Cecina) invite the discovery of picturesque corners and a refreshing swim in their clear, uncontaminated waters.

The farmhouse overlooks the ancient village of San Dalmazio and is 30 km from Volterra. We are also centrally located with respect to the most important cities of art. In about an hour's drive you can reach: San Gimignano, Siena, Massa Marittima, Florence, Pisa and the sea of the Tyrrhenian coast.

Within 5 km there are tennis courts, riding stables (with the possibility of horseback riding). For trekking lovers, the area lends itself to excursions especially to the Berignone and Monterufoli nature reserves.
