The Organic holiday farm in Pomarance, near Pisa in Tuscany, offers a relaxing organic and biodynamic holiday in its 18th tower and its bio restaurant.
The accommodation
The main structure is the 18th tower surrounded by two groups of farm houses built at a later date offering a total of 8 apartments and 5 double rooms with bathroom and 3 suite with bathoroom.
7 apartments are located in the main building near the tower and an apartment has been recently renovated and it is sitiated above our dairy at 2,5 km from the main building.
The 19th century farm house,the heart of the farmstead, offers ecologically renovated rooms, a restaurant, a T.V. lounge and a seminar and course room . The furniture and beds are in naturally treated wood. Electromagnetic field tests have been carried out in the apartments and rooms so that the furniture has been placed to ensure total comfort and well-being.

Another interesting aspect of Il Cerreto is that it is almost self-sustainable as 75% of the electricity is supplied by solar panels.

The bio-swimming pool is an integrated ecosystem rich in local plants and animals.

Activities and surrounding
The organic holiday farm is situated in the open countryside near the Cecina river. In the background the hilltop town of Volterra. An ideal location for enchanting walks or mountain bike rides close to the Berignone-Tatti nature reserve.The farm has about 500 hectares of land where you can relax, admire the landscape, observe the animals, the countryside and its fruits.
The surrounding area offers magnificent landscapes and interesting places to visit; the fascinating historical hilltop town of Volterra just a few minute drive away- Larderello is 15 km from the farm with its unique landscape, steam jets and geothermal plant which produces electricity- Pisa and the “leaning tower is just 70 km – Siena, il Palio, Piazza del Campo are about 60km- San Gimignano, a medieval town 30km- Florence is just an hour drive …..and much more.
