The agriturismo

The organic farm Incanto del Fiume is located in the Cecina Valley, 20 minutes from Volterra, in the quiet and scenic vitality of the Tuscan hills. It offers guests the opportunity to regenerate, make contact with nature, take care of themselves, experience relaxation through contact with nature, have fun in the pool or at the river and stay in rooms and apartments in a single farmhouse.

On the farm are grown organically cereals,legumes, olives,vines,fruit trees,vegetables and honey that are carefully cooked and served during dinner and breakfast at the restaurant with 30 seats, or in the cool of the two verandas that are available to guests.

The accommodation

The structure consists of a large farmhouse on two levels. Upstairs we have three apartments and a double bedroom with bathroom. On the ground floor an apartment for 3-5 people and a double bedroom with bathroom, with facilities for disabled people.

Le Belle fanciulle is an apartment composed of a bright and spacious living room, with a comfortable kitchenette, a sofa and an additional single or double bed, bathroom and bedroom with double bed.
La Cascatella is an apartment with a living room and kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom and a separate attic mezzanine with another two/three beds.

Le Lastre is an apartment composed of a bright living room, with a comfortable open kitchenette and 2 additional single beds, bathroom and bedroom with double bed.

La Foresta, a small apartment consisting of a double bedroom with an added single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, kitchen and bathroom.

La Foresta suite is an apartment composed of: 2 double bedrooms, one with an added single bed, 2 wardrobes, chest of drawers, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, one of which is suitable for disabled people (floor-level shower, large sink, bidet shower, high toilet).

Il Mulino, a double bedroom with an added single bed and bathroom.

Gli Specchi, a double bedroom with bathroom, equipped with disabled access (floor-level shower, large sink, bidet shower, high toilet).


On the ground floor we have the reception, a large restaurant lounge with relaxation corner, with free wireless internet connection, two covered verandas for outdoor dinners and breakfasts or for spending time in company, a table football table; next to it is a large terrace (often used as a play area for children) and the swimming pool (12x6 m) overlooking the valley.

Activities and surrounding

The structure was created with the intent to offer guests the opportunity to regenerate with the quiet of the Tuscan hills and take contact with the surrounding nature: crops of wheat, vines, olive trees and the characteristic Mediterranean scrub that frame the paths within the property where it is posssibile walk or exercise.

Good food and good wine are enjoyed directly on the farm or in other typical restaurants that the owners take care to indicate.


A stop not to be missed is the excursion to the Berignone Nature Reserve, a 10-minute drive away, where it is possible to take a nice nature walk to places where you can swim in an unspoiled landscape.
The property offers the possibility to relax and regenerate in the surrounding environments.

The main destinations are definitely the historic cities of Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Lucca and Pisa, but also Florence and the villages of the Val di Cecina. For those who love the sea, the beaches and pine forests of the Tuscan coast are 40 minutes from the farmhouse.
